TCM has extensive R&D facilities that help us develop award winning products and innovative and pioneering products.
Our research investment is involved with every aspect of product design and production techniques. Here are some of the headline areas into which we invest tens of millions of dollars every year.
At our R&D centres we have state-of-the-art facilities for product and materials testing including a test track for vehicle weighing up to a massive 1000 tonnes.
Quality is embedded at the heart of our business – a trait you’d expect from a Japanese manufacturer.
But it goes deep through our organisation; into the supply chain and right to your front door with our network of trained local dealers. TCM implements programmes aimed at making all employees and agents responsible for overall product quality as well as being aimed at boosting the quality and effectiveness of the entire production system.
Before your trucks are delivered TCM carries out a wide range of rigorous tests, including crush tests, load tests and gradeability tests to ensure superior product performance and safety.
It’s an amazing fact. Despite having sold many thousand machines in the UK over the past 15 years, we have still not found a need to employ a dedicated warranty administrator, not even a part time one!
That speaks volumes for the reliability of TCM products. Our Spare Parts Manager, Phillip Hutchinson, attends to any warranty matters as a minor adjunct to his normal duties.
All new TCM trucks come with comprehensive 12 months or 1200 hours parts and labour cover. We’ll even offer you a 3,4 or 5 year extended warranty (not that we think you’ll need it). Just imagine. We are so confident about TCM trucks. We want you to be confident too.for details.
